SPEAKING OF DEATHFirst, try to clear your mind of what Death is NOT.
There should be no visualizations of Halloween, no grim reaper, no Tarot card, no medieval imaginations of Hell, Daemons, creatures of the night bat wings and spider webs. Try to erase all memory of the paraphernalia of Metalica/ Heavy Metal Death for the Christian has neither part of this nor the Jolly Rodger of Pirate tales. (Death is not poison)
NO Tattoos, body piercing, mutilation, horror movie stuff. (Unmentionable screaming skulls etc.) Unfortunately, death has been demeaned by superstition and greed. And, by adults wanting to be as frightened as little children.
We should, --- can, accept Death as we accept Birth. One's first breath and ones last exhalation. A Miracle happens that begins our life and another miracle happens at death. (Our Soul meets God.)
Death is the vehicle by which our weightless, intangible soul is delivered to God. Death can be as good as a car is good, in that it is the means that performs its task. That is, Instantaneous, silent, safe passage to our desired destination. (Think of Death as a release, that permits our passage)
Death is NOT the terminal. Death takes us to the terminal, Heaven.
Death takes the way of the cross, to Life! ** (Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by me.Ó
Death takes us where we have wanted to go, where God waits for us to come.
Our ride has been pre-paid since the First Easter. FAITH is our ticket.
*Death is God's way to take away all pain and tears. All the physical limitations of vision, hearing, touch, motion, thought, all will be replaced by wider parameters than we have ever experienced!
Think of Adam receiving his first breath from God's exhalation!
Jesus Christ showed us how to Live, Die and to Live again. And He did it for us.
Please God by believing that statement. Hold Fast to your FAITH and Death will fulfill its purpose.
Note: This is not wishful thinking. This, the Bible tells us.

Rev 7 17 God will wipe away all tears
1st Cor. 15:54-58 Death, where is your sting, Grave where is your victory?
**John 14 - 6 I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by me. (Jesus)
1st Thessalonians 4:13-17 Do not grieve as those who have no hope.
2nd Cor. 8:13 14 Knowing He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus and present us with you. ( because He lives ) nw
Note: " This subject is much more profound than we have stated or might understand. God's will operates all through this event. Even Death does God's will. I think that death is not so much self-powered as it is a facilitator, and I do not mean to have said more. " nw
"The point taken is that the Christian reader not be burdened with imagined horror at life's end. Rather, that the Faith that saved us should include the Trust that God will see us through. He will." Author.
