JESUS’ PROPHESY About the Children

Matt 18: 1-7, --10-12 new English Bible

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked,” Who is greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?” He called a child, set him in front of them, and said,

“ I tell you this; unless you turn around and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.  Let a man humble himself till he is like this child, and he will be greatest in the kingdom of Heaven.  Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me.  But if a man is cause of stumbling to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung round his neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.  Alas for the world that such causes of stumbling arise! * Come they must, but woe betides the man through whom they come!”-------------.

Never despise one of these little ones; I tell you, they have their guardian angels in Heaven, who look continually on the face of my Heavenly Father.”

They brought children for him to lay hands on them with prayer.  The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said to them, “let the children come to me; do not try to stop them; for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” And He laid his hands on the children and went his way.

 

 EPILOGUE*

Only recently, have I noticed Jesus’ words following this familiar story. 2000 years ago Jesus predicted a world like ours. For months, our Local press has been detailing the plight of our world’s children. Abuse is worldwide. Pandemic over decades, even within the Christian and Muslim faiths. The emasculation of young boys. Circumcision of girls,

Abortion for convenience.

Uganda, is sacrificing children for body parts used by witch doctors.

Cambodia, is teaching homeless children for sexual service to planeloads of abusers from our own airports. Yes! Officials are now/will be, restricting such flights.

I think Time is running out and that God will soon, do what He has done before.

Guard your child as you should guard your purse.
